I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the new holiday in September – and personally I’m not happy about it.
Now this has NOTHING to do with what the holiday is – or what any holiday is.
But the truth of the matter for me is – I’ll still be working but it makes my job harder when the other industries I work with will not be. Banks are closed, and lawyer stuff can’t get done. I can still do some of my part, but in terms of being able to do due diligence and research with the city, that’s another day taken from me.
We even had a closing scheduled on this day before it was announced so we had to change it – as things won’t get done.
When I was working a 9-5 job I would have had a different opinion, give me ALL the Holidays, but that is no longer my opinion.
