I was asked to answer the question of why join Right Choice Happenings Brokerage over another.
I have to say I spent some time thinking about what to write about why join Right Choice Happenings Brokerage. You see, I left Real Estate but a few months ago. I swore I was done with it, burnt out and it was time for a change. So I got a new job and essentially changed career although still with an accounting edge to it.
Staying Connected to Real Estate Happenings!
I kept in touch with Joe Gonzalez and a few people with whom I had cemented great friendships over the years. So once in a while, I would talk with them and hear their stories about the new listing, the new client, the prices and I realized that I actually missed Real Estate. Who would have thought?
I’ve done Real Estate for so long that it became a huge part of who I am as it seems to do so with Realtors and anyone who has worked in Real Estate.
Over the 17 years of my career in Real Estate, I was fortunate enough to have two great teachers, Eugene Pilato and Roy Zanatta. I learned a tremendous amount of Real Estate through them and through the industry itself, the rules, the laws, the ups, the downs, the systems and on and on it goes.
Joining Right Choice Happenings?
When Joe approached me to join the team, it was a no-brainer for me to say yes. Working with Joe for six years was one of the better experiences I’ve had in Real Estate. Having a bad day, a call from Joe can make you feel better.
I was offered the opportunity to retake the reigns of Real Estate but with a newborn company, a clean new canvas just waiting for an opportunity to become alive. A company ready to embrace new ways of doing Real Estate, yes, still assisting with buying and selling, but teaching our new teams new and exciting things.
Helping Mentor the next Generation
So not just being the serious Joce, following the rules, the fun killer over not having perfect paperwork. I could finally have fun in helping to teach our new team of Realtors, helping in the growing of Joe’s new baby, Right Choice Happenings Realty Ltd.
Didn’t realize at the time that it would be a public voice. I’m usually the person behind the scene…but now, I’m on social media with articles about Real Estate. I’m excited about being part of a team that will help build people in every aspect of their career.

So it’s more than doing the books, more than following the rules. It’s a radical career change.
