Not all meetings are going to be perfect, as Joe Gonzalez grows into his Broker of Record role he is learning how to take control. At this week’s meeting which was held on Canada Day, one of the Team Members was late for the social hour.
These pre meeting, meetings are in place for Joe to not only feed the troops but also allows for much many small talk. This ensures the meetings are run very efficiently and keeps the focus on the business at hand.
Making sure each and every Team Member is living their best life is very important to Joe. RC Recruit Bryan Driscoll has started his Health Journey and Joe is supporting him as much as possible!
During this meeting the topic of smoking cigarettes came up. Kevin Murphy (never a smoker) said that if you keep setting a date int he future, you’re never going to quit, He suggested to just quit now, just send it!
Joe was a smoker for nearly 20 years and knows how hard it is to quit that unhealthy habit! If all you do is talk about when you’re going to quit and never actually quit it won’t happen. Joe says this is how he and Alright Robyn both quit, they took the plunge!
In all aspects of life and business, under promising and over delivering is extremely important. This was a major topic in this week’s meeting and part of Joe’s way of life. When you are able to find the correct balance of over delivering you are going to have a lot of happy people in your life!
Who we surround ourselves with in life is a major factor in what we can achieve. When you are setting big goals, ensuring the people that you spend the most time with are like minded is paramount.
We all have great, close friends that we love spending time with. Knowing that these people are not the best influences in your life is not an easy thing to overcome. When you are around like minded people you can start to actually accomplish the things you dream of. Not just talk about them!
